Vice President Pence yet to speak to President Trump in days following attack on Capitol


Sources tell CBS News that Vice President Mike Pence has not spoken to President Trump since the attack on the Capitol building. Pence has also not yet responded to Democrats' calls to invoke the 25th amendment to remove Mr. Trump from office. Vice News political correspondent Liz Landers joined CBSN to give insight on what Pence may do in the coming days.

Mary Turner is an ICU nurse in Minnesota and has been on the frontlines since February. She recently had the chance to speak with President-elect Joe Biden. She is now feeling hopeful, saying, "I finally felt like I had someone I could say all my concerns to, and I felt President-Elect Biden could do something about it."
"You made America great again."

President Trump called up Sens. Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue on stage to speak at a rally in Georgia on Saturday.
President-Elect Biden is expected to speak to press after meeting with the National Governors Association's executive commitee.
