U.S. surpasses 4,300 daily coronavirus deaths

The UK has reported its highest daily increase in the number of COVID-related deaths of the pandemic, with 1,325 fatalities.

Government figures also show the UK recorded 68,053 new coronavirus cases - the highest daily total of the pandemic so far.
The U.S. reported 2,777 coronavirus-related deaths on Wednesday, according to NBC News tally, and the U.S. had nearly 205,000 new cases of Covid-19 on the same day. The Morning Joe panel discusses the latest virus statistics. Aired on 12/03/2020.
A milestone in the COVID-19 pandemic arrived Monday as the first frontline health care workers in the U.S. began receiving shots of the Pfizer vaccine. But another milestone was reached as well, as the nation's death toll from the pandemic hit 300,000. CBSN has the latest, with a report from lead national correspondent David Begnaud.
