Boris Johnson is set to unveil a new system for implementing COVID-19 restrictions.
U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson shared a virtual message from isolation, giving an update on testing, tracing, and preventative COVID-19 measures. The Prime Minster apologised after giving the wrong answer to a question about COVID-19 restrictions in the North East.
Boris Johnson incorrectly said people could ignore the 'rule of six' restrictions when meeting outdoors.
He later tweeted that those in the North East should also "avoid socialising with other households outside". The study by the Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal) analysed 19 countries and asked citizens to rate key aspects of their government's response to the health crisis. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced the new Rapid Housing Initiative, which includes the creation of up to 3,000 new homes for Canadians.
