UK free school meal supplier apologises for quantity of food parcels

A supplier of free school meals in the UK has admitted that the "quantity has fallen short" in some parcels sent to feed children during the COVID-19 pandemic.


It's estimated an emergency food parcel could be handed out every nine seconds to people across the country.
