CORONAWaters raged through eastern Congo, Monday, April 20, in flooding that killed at least 25 people recently.

According to the administrator of the Uvira territory, 45 more people were injured and about 3,500 homes were destroyed when the Mulongwe river flooded Friday.

Red Cross volunteers helped residents cross the raging flood waters and recover what they could.

However, coronavirus travel restrictions are making it difficult for humanitarian aid to reach the area. (AP)
