Trump to issue immigration 'pause' for 60 days


President Donald Trump said he plans to issue a 60-day pause on immigration to protect American workers, but the suspension will not apply to temporary workers. (April 21)

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo is calling on President Donald Trump to issue an executive order making wearing masks mandatory nationwide. Cuomo made the comments Monday, as the number of virus cases in across the country continue to rise. (June 29)
During his daily coronavirus briefing, NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio reports 270 public servants have lost their lives to COVID-19, and calls on the city to provide health benefits for their families.
President Trump has been outspoken about his feelings on wearing masks, often following up his own experts' advice that the public wear face coverings with a reminder that the masks are optional. Even as his entire staff dons masks in the West Wing, Trump has been loath to the public seeing him wear one. Reports have stated Trump sees masks as a sign of weakness. At a Michigan Ford plant, Trump was photographed wearing a mask in a back area. He then removed it before facing reporters.
