Trump threatens to slash US funding to World Health Organization


The US president has criticised the World Health Organization for its handling of the coronavirus pandemic.
Donald Trump has accused the agency of being "China-centric" and has threatened to cut funding.
Al Jazeera's Mike Hanna reports.

President Donald Trump said Friday that the United States is "terminating" its relationship with the World Health Organization (WHO) over its response to the novel coronavirus.

Trump said at a news conference at the White House that his administration would redirect funds promised to the WHO to other organizations responsible for global health.
