Trump speaks in video message before leaving for hospital


Before leaving for Walter Reed medical center, President Donald Trump recorded a video message he later shared on Twitter. CNN's Jeremy Diamond reports the President thanked his supporters after testing positive for coronavirus.

President Donald Trump tweeted out a video message giving an update on his health and thanking the public for the support he says he has received since his Covid-19 diagnosis.
"I want you to get the same care that I got."

President Trump addressed senior citizens in a video message released on social media on Thursday.
