Trump becomes 1st president impeached twice, Senate trial up next


One week after a violent mob of President Donald Trump supporters stormed the Capitol, the House voted to impeach President.

U.S. President Donald Trump has been impeached by the U.S. House of Representatives for a historic second time, charged with 'incitement of insurrection.' Ten Republicans joined Democrats to vote in favour of impeachment. 
President Trump becomes the first President ever to be impeached twice.
Donald Trump makes history: the only US President to be impeached TWICE. The vote in the House of Representatives saw 10 Republicans flip over to vote against their president. Such is the depth of feeling over the violence at the Capitol last week when a mob of Trump supporters, egged on by the President, marched on Congress, occupying and vandalising the premises.
