Trump Announces He Will Be Leaving Walter Reed Hospital Today


President Trump has tweeted out that he will be departing Walter Reed hospital this evening after being diagnosed with coronavirus and staying there for three days. NBC's Peter Alexander reports.

President Trump tweeted that he will be leaving the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, where he is being treated for Covid-19, today at 6:30 PM. Aired on 10/05/2020.

U.S. President Donald Trump is on his way to Walter Reed Hospital after showing coronavirus-related symptoms. Marine One is taking the president to the hospital.
President Trump was discharged from Walter Reed on Monday after spending three days receiving treatment for the coronavirus. "Feeling really good! Don't be afraid of Covid. Don't let it dominate your life," Mr. Trump wrote in a tweet announcing his departure from the hospital. He had been at Walter Reed since Friday evening.
