The New York Guardians start the 2020 season with a win against Tampa Bay Vipers


The New York Guardians defense caused three turnovers which resulted in a 23-3 victory over the Tampa Bay Vipers to start their 2020 XFL season.

In Week 4 of the XFL season, the New York Guardians outduel the Los Angeles Wildcats in a tough and dramatic game to snap a two-game losing streak.

Luis Perez got his first start at QB for the Guardians, throwing for 150 yards and a TD, while Darius Victor rushed for 82 yards to lead New York over Los Angeles, 17-14.
In a game that includes (0:53) the first kickoff return touchdown of the XFL season and (5:10) a game ball being traded for a box of Thin Mint Girl Scout cookies, the St. Louis BattleHawks make easy work of the New York Guardians in Week 3, winning 29-9 to improve to 2-1 on the season.
Former Oakland Raiders QB Matt McGloin leads the New York Guardians to two touchdown drives as the team earns its first XFL victory with a 23-3 win over the Tampa Bay Vipers.
