Teens Volunteer At Election Sites Amid Covid-19 Concerns


Teens in Kent County, Mich., are helping in the 2020 election. The volunteers are taking the place of older workers who must sit out due to Covid-19 concerns. NBC News' Dasha Burns spoke to two teens who shared what got them motivated to get involved in the election.

In the US, the hospital system is being strained to breaking point by COVID-19 patients.
Intensive care units have completely run out of room in at least one state, Mississippi.
Even as vaccines are being distributed, major cities such as Los Angeles are also overwhelmed.
And doctors are warning the worst is yet to come.
