Southern California Residents To Face Sweeping New Stay-At-Home Measures


The new restrictions for Southern California will take effect Sunday night. Across the country, officials are implementing or threatening to issue more restrictions.

Videos show dozens gathered in Huntington Beach, Calif., to protest Gov. Newsom's new stay-at-home orders imposed Saturday through December 21.
California Gov. Gavin Newsom announced that specific areas in the state will be under a stay-at-home order. Newsom said this is to prevent people from gathering with others outside of their household as coronavirus cases surge. The regions with restrictions are where the ICU capacity is falling below 15% and will be mandated for three weeks. Aired on 12/03/2020.
Ontario says it is issuing the stay-at-home order effective Thursday at 12:01 a.m., which will require everyone to remain at home with exceptions for essential purposes, like going to the grocery store or pharmacy, accessing health-care services, for exercise or for essential work.
