Sex Therapist Thrown Off Balcony to Her Death: Cops


Dr. Amie Harwick was hurled to her death from the third floor balcony of her Los Angeles home by her former lover, according to police. Dr. Harwick was once engaged to ‘The Price Is Right' host Drew Carey, but they split amicably in 2018. After the breakup with the popular game show host, the sex therapist dated software engineer Gareth Pursehouse. Investigators say their relationship soured and Harwick took out a restraining order against him, which expired just two weeks ago.

The man suspected of killing Drew Carey's ex-fiancee, sex therapist Dr. Amie Harwick, is free on $2 million bail. Gareth Pursehouse walked out of Los Angeles' men's central jail upon his release, just three days after he was accused of throwing Harwick from her third-story balcony. His release has shocked a lot of her friends. Now, a sick joke posted nine months ago by the suspect on Instagram about throwing someone out of a window appears particularly foreboding.
The suspect, who cops say killed Drew Carey's ex-fiancee, sex therapist Dr. Amie Harwick, has been thrown in jail again, and this time with no bail. The judge approved a TV camera in court, but in a rare move, banned the camera from showing any images of the accused killer or the judge. He's now facing a new special circumstance allegation of lying in wait, which makes him eligible for the death penalty.

Natalie Lewandowski's sister, Alicia, was shot and killed two years ago at the age of 25. Her boyfriend at the time was charged with first-degree murder in her death. His trial is scheduled to start in May.

Natalie says she saw clear warning signs suggesting her sister was in an unhealthy relationship.
