Secretary Azar visits testing site in N. Carolina


U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar visited a coronavirus testing site at Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, North Carolina on Thursday. He also met with local health care leaders to discuss how to safely reopen the state. (May 21)

Actor Sean Penn joined Mayor Lori Lightfoot at a COVID-19 testing site in Chicago. Penn's charity, CORE, helped the city open six new sites in black and brown communities. (May 18)
New York City will open new coronavirus testing sites for hard-hit communities. Mayor Bill de Blasio said Friday that five walk-in testing sites will focus on those 65 and older in areas with high numbers of COVID-19 cases. (April 17)

Cars lined up at a coronavirus testing site in Miami, Tuesday, April 14, with state officials expecting to test up to 400 people of all ages per day.
N.J. Gov. Phil Murphy announced expanded testing for COVID-19. Universal testing for inmates and staff will start next week and all N.J. transit employees will have access to testing at the American Dream site in East Rutherford.
