Rep. Bush: Black people would have been 'laid out'


Newly elected Democrat Rep. Cori Bush, a Missouri activist who protested against police brutality, says the protestors who stormed the US Capitol were treated differently because of their race. (Jan. 6)

President-elect Joe Biden called protesters at the Capitol a "mob of thugs" and said if they were a group of Black Lives Matter demonstrators they would have been "treated very differently."
Early on Christmas morning a massive explosion has rocked the downtown core of the city of Nashville in the US state of Tennessee.
Police there are calling it an 'intentional act', and say the blast was linked to a recreational vehicle.
Three people have been injured but no fatalities have been reported.
Several rows of buildings have been damaged.
