Protests turn violent across the nation


The arrest of a former Minneapolis police officer involved in the death of George Floyd failed to stop another night of rage in the city.

As Minneapolis protestors continue to demand justice for #GeorgeFloyd. Across the U.S., other protests in solidarity have also taken place. Some turned violent.
As demonstrations against racial injustice continue across the U.S., police are facing increased scrutiny for violent clashes with protesters, including in Austin, Texas, where a 20-year-old man is in critical condition after being hit with a bean bag, falling and hitting his head.
Calls from left-wing activists nationwide to defund and disband police come amid a sudden surge in crime across the country. One America's Pearson Sharp has more details.
