Passenger quarantined on cruise amid coronavirus outbreak hopes to disembark soon


Spencer Fehrenbacher, a Canadian permanent resident who lives in Langley, B.C., says he hopes to get off the Diamond Princess cruise ship soon. A further 44 coronavirus cases were reported on the cruise ship Thursday, raising the total to 219.

Vice President Mike Pence announced that President Trump had approved additional travel restrictions against Iran to combat the spread of the coronavirus outbreak.
