Paris Streets Empty Amid Coronavirus Lockdown


Dash-cam footage shows the streets of Paris virtually empty, Thursday, March 19, as the entire country is on lockdown for at least 15 days to curb the spread of the coronavirus.

A drone hovering above highways in Italy's Lombardy region captures the eerie emptiness amid the country's coronavirus lockdown.

The Colombian National Police led residents in northern Bogota in stretching and dance exercises, Saturday, April 4, as a way to keep people's spirits up while they remained inside their houses during the mandatory coronavirus lockdown.

Police officers are planning to deliver sessions across the Colombian capital as long as the lockdown lasts.

Officers said it was a way to remind people to stay at home, stressing the measure would protect the elderly.


As Italy remained in lockdown amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Romans took to their balconies, Monday, March 16, and moved to the beat of Domenico Modugno's 1950's classic, "Volare."

16 million people in and around Milan, and in 14 other provinces, are prohibited from entering or leaving the area under new restrictions to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
