As COVID-19 cases continue to climb in the U.S., public health officials are on the lookout for a new strain of the coronavirus that's believed to be more contagious than the version that's caused more than 350,000 deaths in the country already. The new COVID-19 variant is believed to have originated in the U.K. and has now turned up in three U.S. states. CGTN's Hendrik Sybrandy reports. The U.K. government, which is seeing a rise in infections in London and southeast England, says a new strain of the coronavirus has been found, and it has alerted the World Health Organization.
