John Rood resigns at Trump's request


President Donald Trump thanked Rood for his service after many perceive his resignation as prompted by Trump's vendetta against those deemed disloyal.

The Pentagon's top policy official John Rood resigned at the request of President Donald Trump, according to a copy of his resignation letter obtained by CNN.
