James Harden: Rockets were in attack mode vs. Nuggets


James Harden and Russell Westbrook address the media after the Houston Rockets beat the Denver Nuggets 130-104 on New Year's Eve. Harden says the whole team was in attack mode, as Harden scored 35 points. Harden adds that the Rockets are still not where they want to be, but the pieces are all coming together for them to be tough to beat. Westbrook says the Rockets' good defense led to easy points, which allowed Houston to increase its lead. Westbrook finishes by saying when a smaller guy is on him,he looks to "abuse" the mismatch down low.

James Harden has confidence that the Houston Rockets will improve after their 120-105 loss vs. the LA Clippers and admits the Rockets' energy on defense was poor. Russell Westbrook then talks about the team's need to attack the basket on the inside and knows that the Clippers played harder and tougher basketball comparatively.
