Jacob Blake paralyzed in shooting, attorney says


Jacob Blake, the 29-year-old Black man who was shot several times by police in Kenosha, Wisconsin, is now paralyzed, family attorney Benjamin Crump said Tuesday. "It is going to take a miracle for Jacob Blake Jr. to ever walk again," Crump said. Watch a portion of his news conference.

Biden spoke to Jacob Blake over the phone, visited Blake's family and met with Kenosha community leaders Thursday in a trip to "bring people together."
The Blake family attorney Benjamin Crump says in a statement that Jacob Blake and his family met with Joe Biden. In the statement, Crump says "Jacob, Jr. shared about the pain he's enduring and the Vice President commiserated." Aired on 09/03/2020.
