As House Speaker Nancy Pelosi walked down a hallway in Congress, she described the State of the Union address as "a manifesto of mistruths." And as to the president not shaking her hand, she responded, "We always extend a hand in friendship. If he rejects it, that's up to him."
When asked whether the Democratic party would rally behind presidential frontrunner Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said that the party's gospel is "unity" and that they would support "whoever the nominee is."
