President Trump threatens to call in the military and "dominate the streets" if violence does not stop.
It has been an unprecedented night in the United States, as protests continued for a seventh day, over the killing of George Floyd in police custody.
He died after being pinned down for almost nine minutes.
An official autopsy has now concluded his death was homicide involving neck compression.
It bears out the findings of an independent autopsy which said Floyd died from asphyxiation.
