Geneva meeting to discuss coronavirus outbreak


Health experts are due to gather in Geneva to discuss the coronavirus and talk about the scale of the growing worldwide epidemic and whether the drastic measures taken by China can work.

Soldiers are enforcing curfews in Hubei province, the epicenter of the coronavirus outbreak, as millions are confined to their homes. Hospitals there are overwhelmed as the number of suspected cases grew by thousands overnight.
Vice President Mike Pence addressed the coronavirus outbreak during his remarks to the Conservative Political Action Committee. "We're ready for anything," he said, but claimed that "this is not the time for partisanship."
Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.) and Sen. Benjamin L. Cardin (D-Md.) meet Dr. Anthony Fauci at the National Institutes of Health to discuss the coronavirus.
