France Sets Curfews In Paris, Other Major Cities To Stop COVID Surge

In an interview on Wednesday night, French President Emmanuel Macron announced nightly curfews will be imposed in Paris and other major cities to try to curb the spread of the Covid-19 epidemic.
President Emmanuel #Macron on Wednesday ordered a nighttime #curfew for #Paris and eight other French cities to contain the rising spread of #Covid-19 in the country. In a televised interview, he said residents of those cities would not be allowed to be outdoors between 9:00 pm and 6:00 am from Saturday, for a duration of at least four weeks.
Before an overnight announcement that he and first lady Melania Trump tested positive, President Donald Trump held a rally, a fundraiser and debated Democratic nominee Joe Biden this week.
