Europe is new epicentre of COVID-19, says WHO


The World Health Organization says Europe is now the epicentre of the COVID-19 pandemic.


The World Health Organisation has declared Europe as the epicentre of the COVID-19 outbreak.
Kathryn Jacobsen specialises in global health epidemiology and is a professor at George Mason University.She spoke with CGTN's Asieh Namdar about new diagnosis of COVID-19 in China's Hubei province.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says Canada won't ban foreign travellers arriving from countries grappling with COVID-19 outbreaks, adding that "knee-jerk reactions" won't help to stop the spread of the virus.
"The pandemic is accelerating."
