Drone Footage Shows Milan Deserted, Some Caught Flouting Lockdown Rules

Drone footage from Milan shows the effect Italy's coronavirus lockdown is having. Streets normally bustling with tourists in the country's financial capital lie empty. The lockdown has now been extended as the country's death toll rises, but even as most people stay at home, others have been caught flouting the rules.

Drone footage shows a mass grave in New York City's Hart Island with dozens of coffins being buried.

Drone footage taken Tuesday, April 7, shows the empty streets of Cape Town, South Africa, as the tourist destination is under a strict coronavirus lockdown.

Drone footage filmed, Sunday, April 5, showed the empty streets of Paris as France remains in lockdown to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
Drone footage shows the empty streets of San Francisco since California declared a state of emergency on March 4 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

California alone has over 9,000 confirmed coronavirus cases and over 200 deaths.

On March 16, seven counties in California, including San Francisco, declared shelter-in-place orders through April 7.

The move orders 7.6 million residents to not leave their home unless it's for "essential business" like buying groceries.
