Dawn Wells' Rapid Deterioration in Final Days With COVID-19

It's the chilling last video of American sweetheart Dawn Wells just six days before her sudden death from COVID-19. She appears to be the picture of health on Christmas Eve, and even jokes around. Less than a week later, the actress famous for her role as Mary Ann on the 1960s hit sitcom "Gilligan's Island" was dead. In 2018, she spoke to Inside Edition about being $200,000 in debt after a life-threatening infection that hospitalized her for two months.

When her 98-year-old mother was diagnosed with COVID-19, Mary Sardelis moved into the retirement home to save her life. She said what she saw was 'no man's land.'

When Lauren Jimenez became sick with COVID-19 days before their big day, she and her husband decided to move forward with a ceremony.
Talk show host Larry King, who hosted "Larry King Live" for 25 years, has been hospitalized with COVID-19, a source close to him confirmed to CBS News. King, 87, was admitted to Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles. CBSN's Lana Zak reports.
New York City's restaurants must stop serving meals indoors on Monday as Covid-19 hospitalisations fail to stabilise and the infection rate for the virus rises in the densely populated metropolis, Governor Andrew Cuomo said on Friday.
