Creighton upsets No. 10 Seton Hall holding Myles Powell to 12 points

Big East Player of the Year frontrunners Myles Powell and Markus Howard both went off as Seton Hall outpaced Marquette 88-79. Howard outscored Powell 37-28 despite his Golden Eagles getting stuck with the loss. Seton Hall star guard Myles Powell was among those honored during Senior Night as Seton Hall hosted a pivotal game vs Villanova. Powell could not hold back the tears during the pregame ceremony. Powell dished out eight assists but shot 5-18 from the field as No. 14 Villanova beat No. 8 Seton Hall in a nail biter. With its 77-60 win over Seton Hall, Creighton continued to surge and guaranteed itself at least a share of the Big East regular season title for the first time ever. They also clinched the No. 1 seed in the conference tournament.
