In the United States, there are concerns over the impact of COVID-19 on meat supplies. Some major grocery chains are now limiting the amount of meat customers can buy. It comes after dozens of meatpacking plants were forced to close following outbreaks of the virus amongst workers. 
A toxic gas leak at an LG chemical plant in Visakhapatnam, India, has killed at least 13 people. It is estimated that 800 to 1,000 people are in hospital as scenes showed people collapsing on the street.

An investigation has been launched to determine the cause, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi convening an emergency meeting.
