Coronavirus shuts down the world's biggest phone show


Mobile World Congress has been canceled, and the world's biggest tech brands are facing big delays in production, thanks to the new, deadly virus.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) issued a statewide stay-at-home order starting March 20. In Los Angeles, beaches are already empty and normally crowded streets are suddenly free of traffic.
So far 45 states have shut down schools entirely, giving parents a new job as teachers. Many school systems are utilizing online learning systems, but there are many hurdles -- including 12 million students who don't have reliable home internet.
