Chris Matthews On 2020: 'Why Do You Still Start In Iowa?'

Description:

Chris Matthews thinks Democrats should consider starting 2020 in a more diverse state: "Why do you still start in Iowa? It's a strange decision." Aired on 02/03/20.

Krystal and Saagar discuss Chris Matthews leaving Hardball on MSNBC amid sexual harassment allegations.
Hispanic voters have been playing an increasingly influential role in U.S. elections, and this trend is expected to be no less true in 2020 when an estimated 32 million Hispanics will be eligible to vote. In Iowa, where the first in the nation contest is taking place Feb. 3, just 6% of the population is Hispanic and some 50-thousand Latino voters are registered in the state. MSNBC's Steve Kornacki took the reins on Monday's episode of "Hardball" after host Chris Matthew announced his retirement at the start of the show. "I knew how much you meant to him, and how much he meant to you. And I think you're going to miss him, and I will too," said Kornacki.
Chris Matthews says Bernie will do well in Iowa because ‘socialists love meetings'. Ana Kasparian and Cenk Uygur, hosts of The Young Turks, break it down.
