Belarus: More than 1,000 arrested in fresh protests, NGO says

The number of new coronavirus infections in France jumped more than 20,000 in one day for the first time since the start of the pandemic, health ministry data showed on Friday.

Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson says that as of midday Wednesday, more than 100,000 ballots still needed to be counted in Detroit, Grand Rapids, Flint, Kalamazoo and other smaller jurisdictions.
