Azerbaijani military defuses more than 150 mines in Agdam


Azerbaijan's military says it has defused more than 150 mines in territory it regained after weeks of fighting with Armenia over Nagorno-Karabakh.
Agdam is one of three regions handed over to Azerbaijan by Armenia under a Russian-brokered deal.

The number of new coronavirus infections in France jumped more than 20,000 in one day for the first time since the start of the pandemic, health ministry data showed on Friday.
French President Emmanuel #Macron said on Wednesday there should be no more than six people around the table for family #gatherings, to try to curb the spread of the #Covid-19 epidemic. Speaking in an interview on national television, Macron said exceptions could be made for people with more than six people in their immediate family.
Chicago imposed new curfews for nonessential businesses, including bars, after Illinois saw 4,000 new virus infections. Fourteen states hit record hospitalizations this week.
European leaders are being urged to act fast and stop the renewed spread of COVID-19.
New daily coronavirus infections have more than doubled over the past 10 days around the continent.
In France, scientists are warning the virus is spreading faster than the first wave. And Spain's prime minister says there are as many as three million people infected there.
