Australia's bushfires 'should have been foreseen'


In Australia, bushfires continue to devastate huge areas. Experts say the heat and dryness are set to continue for months. Climate scientists say the massive fires should have been foreseen. Local residents of the burnt-out town of Nerrigundah have returned to try to salvage what remains of their homes and belongings.

Lara Prychodko was found dead at the bottom of the trash chute after plummeting from the 27th floor of her high-rise apartment building in Manhattan. But her grieving father says the death of his daughter was wrongly ruled a drunken accident by investigators, and that a review of her autopsy report by the same pathologist who refuted Jeffrey Epstein's cause of death shows she may have been strangled.
The United States counted 80 cases as of Sunday and two deaths, both men with existing health problems who had been hospitalized in Washington state. Researchers say the virus may have been in Washington State undetected for weeks. (March 2)
