At least 31 Afghan soldiers killed in suicide bombing
At least 31 Afghan soldiers have been killed in a suicide bombing in Ghazni province, in one of the worst attacks in recent months.
Local health officials say another 24 people were injured.
No group has yet claimed responsibility.

Their deaths on Saturday bring to five the number of French soldiers killed in operations in the West African country over the past week. A suicide car bomber struck an army base in Afghanistan on Sunday, killing at least 26 security personnel, officials said, in one of the bloodiest attacks targeting Afghan forces in recent months. At least 110 people were killed in a weekend attack on farm workers in northeast Nigeria blamed on jihadists, the UN humanitarian coordinator in the country said on Sunday, making it the deadliest raid on civilians this year. New York City police say at least two U.S. marshals and a suspect have been shot in the Bronx. (Dec. 4)
