Former Democratic presidential candidate Andrew Yang has officially announced he is running for mayor of New York City. During his speech, Yang promised a basic income for New Yorkers and reforms for transit and criminal justice.
New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio told reporters people of privilege won't be allowed to "jump the line" ahead of those who have a greater need for a COVID-19 vaccine.
