9 migrant parents reunite with children


The parents are returning for another shot at asylum, after a judge found they were misled by border patrol agents when they first arrived.

Nine parents who were deported as the Trump administration separated thousands of migrant families landed back into the U.S. late Wednesday to reunite with children they had not seen in a year and a half. (Jan. 23)
It was a tearful reunion after a six-week ordeal stretching from China to California. Wednesday Esther Tebeka was reunited with her family for the first time since she and her 15-year-old daughter had to be quarantined for two weeks in the US. (Feb 13)
U.S. First Lady Melania Trump visited children at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, Friday, February 14.

It was the third consecutive year the first lady participated in arts and crafts activities, celebrating Valentine's Day with young patients, their caretakers and families.

She decorated cookies, made cards and heart wreaths with children, at one point waving to parents who were watching from a balcony.
