30,000 people from 64 countries read their vows in South Korea overcoming coronavirus fears


The Unification Church in South Korea offered face masks and hand sanitizer to everyone in attendance.

Nearly 44,000 people have evacuated their homes around Taal volcano which could erupt imminently.
Since late January, more than 30,000 medical workers across the nation have been dispatched to and are on the front lines in central China's Wuhan City, the epicenter of the novel coronavirus outbreak. Medical practitioners from numerous hospitals in southwest China's Sichuan Province also joined the battle against the virus.

Tens of thousands of people in southeast Australia were urged to evacuate this week, as soaring temperatures and strong winds raised the risks posed by wildfires. Over 200 fires are burning across several states in the country. Ten deaths have been confirmed this week alone in the states of Victoria and New South Wales, with at least another 28 people missing. Australia's navy has started to evacuate people trapped by bushfires on the country's southeastern coast.
