17-Year-Old Who Lost Leg in Shark Attack Hasn't Given Up

A 17-year-old Republican campaign volunteer in Minneapolis is dead after he and another campaign volunteer were shot outside of a convenience store. One America's Shane Althaus has more. For the first time in state history, eligible 17-year-old Coloradans were able to vote in a primary election this year. But an amendment on the ballot in November will ask voters if only U.S. citizens age 18 or older should be able vote in federal, state, and local elections. Authorities announced a major break in a cold case investigation dating back nearly 25 years. In 1996, the body of 17 year old Gladys Arellano was found at the bottom of a ravine in the rugged southern California area known as Topanga Canyon. Police collected DNA evidence at the time, but with no suspects, the case went cold. Fast forward to November of 2019, when a man was arrested on a domestic violence charge. Cops got a DNA sample from him, and it turned out to be a match. Kyle Rittenhouse, a 17-year-old from Illinois, has been arrested in connection with the shooting of three demonstrators in Kenosha, Wisconsin, that killed two people and injured another. The teen has been charged with first-degree intentional homicide and is now in police custody. Authorities say Rittenhouse was one of a number of self-proclaimed armed militia members who showed up at a Black Lives Matter protest following the shooting of Jacob Blake by a white police officer.
