17-Year-Old Arrested In Fatal Shootings At Jacob Blake Protest


Unrest turned deadly overnight in Wisconsin, leading to the arrest of a 17-year-old suspect. The teen faces a first-degree intentional homicide charge for the two deaths.

Authorities announced a major break in a cold case investigation dating back nearly 25 years. In 1996, the body of 17 year old Gladys Arellano was found at the bottom of a ravine in the rugged southern California area known as Topanga Canyon. Police collected DNA evidence at the time, but with no suspects, the case went cold. Fast forward to November of 2019, when a man was arrested on a domestic violence charge. Cops got a DNA sample from him, and it turned out to be a match.

For the first time in state history, eligible 17-year-old Coloradans were able to vote in a primary election this year. But an amendment on the ballot in November will ask voters if only U.S. citizens age 18 or older should be able vote in federal, state, and local elections. A 17-year-old Republican campaign volunteer in Minneapolis is dead after he and another campaign volunteer were shot outside of a convenience store. One America's Shane Althaus has more.
